We decided to combine our skills and experience to create a formidable team
Our values
Call us old-fashioned if you will, but this is how we think business should be done.

Trust
You are inviting us into your home, and in doing so, you are placing us in a position of trust. We want you to feel completely confident to have us working in your home. We are confident that we will quickly earn your trust. We are DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service criminal records checked). Anyone who works for us is also DBS checked and must be personally known to us for a minimum of five years. We are happy to provide copies of our DBS certificates.
Integrity
"Doing the right thing, even if no one is looking" possibly describes (or used to describe) our national character. For us, integrity is the seed from which other desirable qualities can be derived.
Quality
Quality is about meeting a standard of workmanship that meets or exceeds your expectations. Our minimum acceptable standard can be measured as:
1) The standard of work that we would undertake in our own homes, and
2) The standard of work that would be judged as excellent if it were scrutinised by competent competitors in our field.
Value
We want you to feel that the service we provide to you represents excellent value. We do not attempt to be the cheapest available, but we provide the best possible value for the standard of work that we deliver. At the completion of each project that we do for you, we want you to feel delighted that what we have delivered represents money well-spent.
Clarity
We believe communications should be clear and concise. Our quotations explain exactly what we are committing to do in plain language, and we strive to remove any ambiguity in all our communications.
Transparency
We do not provide ‘estimates’. We provide firm quotations in which we detail exactly what is and is not included. You will never be invoiced for extras unless they have been specifically requested by you, and we have advised you of any additional costs in writing in advance of us doing the work.

Louise
I have lived in East Sussex all of my life. I have moved house on a regularly basis to accommodate a growing family. As it's a passion of mine, each move has been a property that has either required a complete renovation or remodelling. I love the challenge of turning a rundown house in to a beautiful home. All of the projects I have taken on, I have worked closely with my architect and the builder to make sure I have ended up with exactly what I visualised from the day I first stepped inside the house. I love having the ability of taking an idea, knowing what would look best for the space and to then see the finished result.

Jo
I was formally trained as a Painter and Decorator at Eastbourne College whilst working as an apprentice with my family's building-renovation firm.
I was fortunate to have been mentored by an absolute perfectionist, whose values I happily adopted.
Over the past 26 years, my work has been mostly traditional decorating projects for private clients with some decorating extensions for small building firms. I choose not to undertake construction site work because the demand to sacrifice quality in exchange for doing everything in a rush is unrewarding.
I love it when clients are delighted with my work.
